Advertise For FREE Using These Methods

In my last post, I gave you two methods you can use to find products or opportunities that you can begin promoting as an affiliate. In this post, I will be discussing FREE, but EFFECTIVE methods you can use to promote those products/opportunites you have chosen. With these methods, all that is required is your time and a little bit of work. So, let's get started!

Forums - Forum advertising can be a very effective, and PROFITABLE, form of advertising if done right! First, you will want to begin by choosing a forum that is mainly focused on your niche. For example, if you've decided to sell home and gardening products online, a good forum to start with would be the HGTV.com Forum. A perfect place to find forums pertaining to your niche is Google.com. Now, don't go making posts here and there promoting your products! You will immediately be banned from the forum and a complaint will be sent to your ISP! The correct way to go about this would be to add your affiliate links to your products in your forum signature, then introduce yourself to the forum. Take part in discussions going on throughout the forum. Don't make it seem like you just joined the forum to promote your products. Establish yourself as someone with knowledge and/or experience within your niche or someone interested to learn more about your niche. People within the forum will begin to respect you and see you as an expert and friend. Once you have that trust, people will be willing to buy anything you have to offer them just because YOU recommended it!

Blogs - Would you believe me if I told you that this exact blog that you're reading is earning me a nice income and it could be doing the same for you? Yes, you read right! Blogs are no longer only seen as personal journals, but now as goldmines! Blogs are very easy to get started and very easy to maintain! And, best of all, they're FREE! Now first, you will want to open up a blog account with Blogger.com. Setup takes only a few minutes to complete. Once finished, start blogging! That's all there is to it! Start creating posts about your niche. Talk about personal experiences. Make recommendations. Include some articles that you found very helpful or interesting. Give tips or ideas. Just be sure to include your affiliate links and watch the money roll in!

Articles - Are you good at writing or have some expertise or experience within your niche? Then write an article about it! Just by giving away some of your personal recommendations in an article could mean loads of cash for you! Just be sure to include your affiliate link or a link to your blog in your resource box at the end of your article. Many people will read your article and become interested in learning more about your niche thus leading them to clicking on your link in your resource box! So, I've just explained three easy, effective, and free methods of advertising that you can use to start making money as an affiliate. So, what are you waiting for? First Things First - Choosing An Affiliate Program

One thing that I've learned in this internet marketing world is that it's very possible to make hundreds, thousands, even MILLIONS of dollars, sometimes DAILY! I don't know of one day job that has that type of potential! BUT (yes, there's a BUT), as much money as there is to be made, there's also much money to be LOST! If things aren't done correctly in this internet marketing world, you could end up with an empty wallet and bank account! So, I stress to everyone, to do your due diligence FIRST before committing to anything!

Now, when I first got started in internet marketing, I joined an MLM program. BIG MISTAKE! I do not recommend joining an MLM to ANYONE unless you're a prospect recruiting machine! If you're no good at recruiting, then you're destined to fail from the start in MLM! What I recommend is to get into affiliate programs. Most affiliate programs are free to join and only involve getting someone to buy something through your affiliate link, and VOILA! You earn a commission! Sounds easy, right? Although its not that simple, it's a piece of cake compared to MLM programs. So, without further ado, let's get started!

In order to get started with affiliate programs, you will first need to become an affiliate. I suggest you choose a category or niche that you're passionate about. If you love pets, join some affiliate programs for websites dedicated to pets and start from there. Don't know where or how to find them? Just go to Google.com and search for "pets affiliate programs". You can also join an affiliate network and gain access to thousands of programs and products that you can promote as an affiliate. With this option, I recommend ClickBank.com. It gives you access to over 10,000 digital products within 9 different categories and almost 100 different sub-categories. Signup is quick and easy and you can begin promoting products and earning commissions today!

Internet Marketing... From MY Perspective

Hello everyone! I would like to take the time out to thank you for visiting my blog! My name is Gregory Tatum and as you can tell from the title of my blog, I'm interested in internet marketing. I've been interested in making money online for over a year now, starting with eBay. But, it wasn't until recently, December of 2005 to be exact, that I became interested in internet marketing. So, I guess most can call me a newbie, with just 4 months under my belt. But, I've learned a lot within these past 4 months and I have a general idea of how to make money on the internet. So, in a way, this can be a learning experience for those out there just getting started with internet marketing. Follow me as I guide you along the very difficult, but certainly reachable path to riches through this internet marketing world. I will be discussing what works and what doesn't from my own personal experience.
